At ProductSync, we value your privacy and understand the importance of protecting personal and business information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices available to you when using our services.

By using ProductSync, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

ProductSync is a private product-data synchronization platform developed by iVUE360 Imaging. It is designed to help businesses connect authorized supplier catalogues with accounting systems, eCommerce platforms, inventory solutions and other approved business applications.

ProductSync preserves original supplier data, validates its quality, synchronizes approved information accurately and explains significant changes.

2. Information We Collect

The information collected depends on how ProductSync is configured and used.

Account and contact information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Business contact details

Connection information

When you authorize ProductSync to connect to a third-party service, we may process or securely store:

  • Access tokens and refresh tokens
  • Account or company identifiers
  • Connection preferences and settings
  • Integration status and diagnostic information

ProductSync does not require or store your third-party account passwords when secure authorization methods such as OAuth are available.

Business and catalogue data

  • Product names and descriptions
  • Stock keeping units and other identifiers
  • Categories, brands, sizes, colours and variants
  • Pricing and supplier cost information
  • Product images and image references
  • Supplier catalogue information
  • Destination-system item identifiers
  • Validation results and synchronization history

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Provide and operate ProductSync services
  • Retrieve authorized supplier catalogue data
  • Validate product information and identifiers
  • Map information between connected systems
  • Create or update authorized destination records
  • Maintain synchronization and audit history
  • Diagnose technical and integration issues
  • Protect the security and integrity of the service
  • Communicate important service or support information
ProductSync does not sell, rent or use customer business data for third-party advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Integrations

ProductSync connects only to third-party platforms selected and authorized by the user or authorized business.

  • Accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online
  • Supplier APIs, feeds and websites
  • Inventory and product-information systems
  • eCommerce platforms
  • Reporting and export destinations

Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy policy, security practices and terms. ProductSync only requests access reasonably necessary to perform the authorized integration.

5. Data Security

ProductSync applies reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed.

  • Encrypted connections using HTTPS and TLS
  • OAuth authorization where supported
  • Restricted access to credentials and tokens
  • Principle-of-least-privilege access controls
  • Secure configuration and software maintenance
  • Logging and diagnostic controls

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. ProductSync therefore works to reduce risk through appropriate safeguards, controlled access and responsible data handling.

6. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide ProductSync services, maintain required synchronization records, resolve technical issues or meet legal and contractual obligations.

Connection tokens may be retained while an integration remains active. When an integration is disconnected, associated tokens will be revoked or removed where technically supported and reasonably practicable.

You may request deletion of personal information or ProductSync records, subject to applicable legal, security, backup and contractual requirements.

7. Cookies and Website Data

The ProductSync website may use essential cookies or similar technologies necessary to:

  • Maintain secure sessions
  • Remember functional preferences
  • Protect website forms and integrations
  • Monitor technical performance and reliability

ProductSync does not use cookies to sell personal information or build third-party advertising profiles.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request access to personal information
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
  • Request information about how data is handled

ProductSync will respond to reasonable, verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

9. International Data Transfers

ProductSync may communicate with authorized third-party systems located in other countries. Information may therefore be transferred across national borders when required to perform an authorized synchronization or support function.

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information during these transfers, taking into account the service, provider and applicable legal requirements.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to ProductSync, new integrations, legal requirements or security practices.

The latest version will be published on this page. The document version, effective date and last updated date will be revised when material changes are made.
